Washers are thin, flat rings primarily used to distribute the load caused by the tightening or joining of two surfaces. They are also commonly used as seals, spacers, wear pads, and locking devices. This washer is used in the control panel of the Anesthesia Delivery system. The washer is made up of derlin material. Derlin a crystalline plastic which offers an excellent balance of properties that bridge the gap between metals and plastics. It possesses high tensile strength, creep resistance and toughness. It also exhibits low moisture absorption. It is chemically resistant to hydrocarbons, solvents and neutral chemicals.These properties along with its fatigue endurance make derlin ideal for many industrial applications This washer is compatible with Aestiva 7900, Aestiva MRI and Aestiva 7100 Anesthesia Delivery system.
