Product Overview
The Cap Scavenger is being used in Aestiva 5 Anesthesia delivery machines. The Aestiva/5 Passive Anesthesia Gas Scavenging System (AGSS) has a two-liter reservoir to minimize rapid pressure changes. It contains both positive and negative pressure relief valves to protect the breathing system. The outlet is a 30 mm male taper swivel connector at the rear of the breathing system. The connector also has a capped hose barb that may be used for scavenging the sample from a gas monitor. The cap is manufactured using an injection molding manufacturing process, which helps to achieve good product consistency and high dimensional accuracy, which helps ensure a precise fit of the part in the required assembly. The high grade materials used for the cap have good mechanical and thermal properties, thus ensuring a long-life span for the part. It also helps to make the components lightweight without compromising on the integral strength. This cap scavenger is being used in other medical machines such as ARC Aespire 7900, ARC Testing Services, ARC Aestiva 7100, ARC Aestiva 3000, ARC Aestiva MRI, ARC Aisys and ARC Aestiva 7100.
