The Socket Head Cap Screw is made of stainless steel. Stainless steels are iron-based alloys which contain a minimum of chromium around 10.5%. The presence of chromium offers corrosion resistance for the stainless steel and helps it to resist scaling at elevated temperatures. Stainless steel also maintains the its excellent toughness.
