Product Overview
A Screw M3 x 8 Button Head Socket Cap Screw Stainless Steel is a type of screw which is a type of fastener, similar to a bolt that is made of metal. Screw can be used in any application joining a number of different materials together. The socket button head screws have a hexagonal recess head and are driven using a hex wrench or insert bit. This makes this type of screw much more efficient than the slotted screw products as the hex socket drive has more resistance to stripping and can be used with power drivers enabling faster use and higher torque to be achieved. The button head cap screw is made up of stainless steel. Stainless steels are iron-based alloys, which contains minimum of chromium around 10.5%. The presence of chromium offers corrosion resistance to stainless steel and helps to resist scaling at elevated temperatures. Stainless steel also maintains excellent toughness.
