Product Overview
An ultrasound transducer, also called a probe, is a device that produces sound waves that bounce off body tissues and make echoes. A Transducer also receives the echoes and sends them to a computer that uses them to create an image called a Sonogram. The GE 8C-RS probe is a micro convex ultrasound transducer that is compatible with many GE ultrasound systems. This probe is useful across a broad range of applications including pediatric and neonatal, making it a versatile and useful probe. The probes feature a ComfortScan design and the miniaturized RS connector, with ergonomics that help maximize ease of use and patient comfort. A lightweight transducer cable minimizes strain for the user, facilitating transducer placement. This probe is compatible to be use with GE's Logiq P series, Logiq F series, Voluson S series and Vivid IQ Ultrasound Systems.
