The Retainer Filter Fan 80mm Filter and Guard is an assembly used in phototherapy systems. The Giraffe™ Spot Phototherapy main fan assembly uses a retainer fan filter for the removal of dust and contaminating particles. It is made up of plastic which is lightweight and flexible. The fan filter assembly is comprised of a guard that attaches to the fan, a retainer which snap fits onto the guard and the replaceable filter media. The retainer and filter can be one-touch mounted/dismounted and it is keyed, with one tab smaller than the others to aid in correctly aligning the retainer. It is used to protect the internal components from environmental contamination. The system allows a sufficient flow of air through it, thus helping to prevent the system from overheating, data loss and system failure. It comes as a part of MIC Giraffe™ Phototherapy and Giraffe™ Spot Phototherapy. It is reliable, durable and highly efficient. It can withstand shock and helps prevents the system from damage.
